The latest of ammonium molybdate, sodium molybdate and molybdenum concentrate prices in the Chinese market remain stable under the relatively tight supply of molybdenum concentrate and limited orders from downstream buyers.

There are three reasons for the current market trend. First, the overall weak performance of the international market has caused some adverse effects on the domestic market and weakened the confidence of some operators in the good market outlook. Second, market participants have good expectation for the rise in tungsten prices with the influence of strong rised mentality in the raw material markets and continued progress in tendering for steel mills. Third, the policy is relatively calm, and the weak terminal demand is difficult to change, resulting in poor trading channels and limited transactions.
