China Neodymium Oxide Price - Aug. 6, 2019

Rare earth market quotation in China: the latest prices of neodymium oxide, dysprosium oxide and praseodymium neodymium oxide climb slightly with the impact of good trading atmosphere and positive expects for the market outlook. 

First, after US President Trump announced the imposition of tariffs on the 300 billion US dollars of goods imported from China, the confidence of the market in reflecting the value of strategic resources has once again been raised, and the holders’ wait-and-see attitude is gradually increasing, mainly in some light rare earths. The product prices have increased slightly, but as the relevant policies are still unclear, the market price increase is limited, and it is still oriented to the downstream demand. Second, the environmental protection policy is tightening and the blackening is normal, resulting in the medium and heavy rare earth market still being relatively tight. In the state, even in the face of the off-season, most traders are mainly buying, and most manufacturers are not willing to throw at low prices.
