Tungsten Powder Prices Declined to $41.5/kg in China

Analysis of latest tungsten market from ChinaTungsten Online

In the tungsten concentrate market, trading for spot goods becomes slow as buyers do not have confidence in the off season. The market now is caught in heavy wait-and-see atmosphere and transaction prices are lower than before. High-grade wolframite concentrate price hovers around $16,153.8 per tonne.

Downstream factories remain low buying interests in July, resulting in thin trading volumes. Smelting factories are back in production and market supply comes to normal. Without the support from environmental protection inspection, APT price continues to decline to $295.5 per tonne. 

Market participants seem unwilling to trade in a weakening market. Businesses with worries about weak demand decide to sell at a relatively low price. Tungsten powder prices have been declined to $41.5 per kilogram with fewer deals.
