Northern Rare Earth Forecasts Over 20-Fold Profit Increase for First Half of 2025

On July 10, 2025, Northern Rare Earth released an announcement stating that the company expects to achieve a net profit attributable to shareholders of 900 million to 960 million yuan for the first half of 2025, an increase of 855 million to 915 million yuan compared to the same period last year, representing a year-on-year rise of 1882.54% to 2014.71%. It also anticipates a non-GAAP net profit of 880 million to 940 million yuan, an increase of 865 million to 925 million yuan year-on-year, marking a rise of 5538.33% to 5922.76%.

Baotou Rare Earth Prices Mostly Increased Month-on-Month in June 2025

According to the Baotou Industry and Information Technology Bureau, in June 2025, among the 36 key monitored industrial products, month-on-month data shows that prices of 24 products, including cerium oxide, rebar, polyethylene, and PVC, decreased; prices of 3 products, such as lanthanum oxide and lanthanum metal, remained stable; and prices of 9 products, including neodymium metal, A00 aluminum, and #1 copper, increased. Year-on-year, prices of 27 products, such as high wire, hot-rolled coil, and A00 aluminum, decreased, while prices of 9 products, including rare earth carbonate, lanthanum oxide, and praseodymium-neodymium metal, increased.
