It seems that 2020 is a year full of difficulties and challenges under the influence of COVID-19 spreading globally. As is known the COVID-19 is under primary control in China, and the situation is getting better. Though our business is not affected by the overall situation, actions should be taken to prevent its further outbreak. Therefore, here are several notices in order to protect all of us and ensure our stable cooperation:

1. Any inquiring/purchase should be better to be considered earlier than usual for CTOMS cannot predict the uncertainty in and out of China.
2. Unless otherwise re-scheduled and permitted, all scheduled visiting, meetings at our facilities, offices and exhibitions are cancelled and no onsite visiting and face-to-face meetings are scheduled before April 30, 2020*.
3. Unless otherwise re-scheduled and permitted, any business trip of CTOMS’ employees both domestic and aboard is forbidden before April 30, 2020*.
4. All types of online working, meeting, communicating are preferred during COVID-19.
5. Information is better to be shared if there’s any policy issued or changed regarding export and import, such as temporary shutdown, delivery forbidden and any others besides the COVID-19.

*The date will be re-settled according to the COVID-19 situation and the announcement of WHO and the Governments timely.

Moreover, the new guide prices from tungsten associations and listed companies were adjusted slightly, supporting current levels. 

Chinese rare earth prices maintain stability on the whole but start to show signs of weakness owing to sluggish demand and low procurement capability. Although downstream magnetic companies have not high willingness in taking goods, prices of light rare earth products dropped nearly to the cost line, which made sellers raised their offers. But the prices of dysprosium and terbium related products started to decline in the heavy rare earth market.
