A Preparation Method of Ultrafine Tungsten Trioxide

Step One: Prepare a 45% sodium tungstate aqueous solution, adjust the pH of the solution to 8.0 with fumaric acid, and put into a high-pressure reaction kettle for hydrothermal reaction for 12 hours. And the obtained precipitate is filtered, concentrated and crystallized to obtain seed crystal.

Step Two: Add the seed crystal to the 30% sodium tungstate solution to obtain a mixture of the sodium tungstate solution and the seed crystal, and the mass ratio of the seed crystal to the sodium tungstate in the solution is 1: 4.5.

Step Three: Place the above mixture in a stainless steel high-pressure reaction kettle, hydrothermal react for 12 hours under the condition of strong stirring at 220 °C. After that, the stirring is stopped, and the reaction product slurry is obtained after cooling to room temperature.

Step Four: The reaction product slurry is filtered and washed to obtain a filter cake and a mother liquor, and the filter cake is calcined at 350 °C to obtain ultra-fine tungsten trioxide.
