Some experts built a simulated room with a sealed plastic box (11cm*11 cm*11 cm) covered with different films coated glasses under the irradiation of a 275 W infrared lamp. The experiments were carried out at the room temperature of 25 °C and temperature variation was monitored by a thermodetector with four thermocouples every ten minutes. Meanwhile, the heat preservation performance of these films was evaluated in the same plastic box without the irradiation of infrared lamp, but the glasses were rotated 180° to make the smart film of cesium tungsten bronze nanoparticles side toward the inside with the initial temperature being 40 °C.
