Nano particle size cesium tungsten oxide, or cesium tungsten bronze nanoparticles, may be used for preparing infrared thermal insulation nano material such as transparent thermal insulation coating, and thus be applied to architectural glass to provide thermal insulation performance without affecting lighting. Experts said that the thermal insulation test of such thermal insulation coating glass can be achieved by the following method.
The heat insulation test equipment is self-made. The heat insulation box is made of foam board. The inner space of the heat insulation box is: width x length x height = 20x40x10cm3, and the top of the box has a rectangular window of 7x10cm2. The black iron plate is placed at the bottom of the box for heat absorption. And the digital thermometer is attached to the surface of the black iron plate.

The specific test procedure is as follows: the glass plate coated with Cs0.33WO3 coating is placed on the window of the confined space, making the film-coated portion completely cover the window; the infrared light is irradiated from an infrared lamp at a distance of 25cm from the window. The relationship between the temperature in the box and the irradiation time is recorded. The blank glass piece is tested in the same way, and the thermal insulation effect of the transparent thermal insulation coating is characterized by comparing the temperature difference between the blank glass and the glass coated with the thermal insulation film.
