CsxWO3 Powder Applied for Thermal Insulating Glass

CsxWO3 powder, mainly nano particle size cesium tungsten bronze powder, may be applied for producing thermal insulating film and therefore be used in thermal insulating glass. The cesium tungsten bronze powder can be prepared by hydrothermal method using sodium tungstate dihydrate as a tungsten source and cesium sulfate as a cesium source. And the obtained powder is cesium tungsten bronze transparent aqueous phase nano dispersion. The specific steps are as follows:

1.0 Accurately weigh a certain amount of Na2WO4•2H2O powder, dissolve it in a certain amount of water, stir it, and mix it into a certain concentration of sodium tungstate solution.

2.0 A certain amount of dilute nitric acid with a mass fraction of 7% was added to the aqueous sodium tungstate solution, and allowed to stand for 10 minutes to obtain tungstic acid sol. The tungstic acid sol was centrifuged and washed several times with water to remove impurity ions.

3.0 Accurately weigh a certain amount of cesium sulfate dissolved in a certain amount of water, while stirring, the tungstic acid sol obtained in step 2.0 is transferred to cesium sulfate solution with a certain amount of water to obtain a mixture of tungstic acid and cesium sulfate. After stirring for a certain period of time, it is heated to increase the dissolution of tungstic acid to make the mixing more complete and then to cool.

4.0 Ethylene glycol was added dropwise to the above mixture and stirred for a certain period of time to obtain precursor solution.

5.0 Adjust the precursor liquid to a certain pH value, transfer it to the hydrothermal kettle lined with Teflon, and carry out hydrothermal reaction under certain conditions.

6.0 The hydrothermal product was centrifuged and washed, and ultrasonically dispersed into water to obtain nano-dispersion of cesium tungsten bronze transparent aqueous phase.
