China Tungsten Market Strengthened with Price Increase in August

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China tungsten market strengthened further this week began on Monday August 10, with prices for concentrate and ammonium paratungstate (APT) both continuing to rise following a prolonged period of consolidation at low levels.

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) and major domestic producers expect prices for tungsten concentrate and ammonium paratungstate (APT) to rise in August, in line with a recent recovery in both markets.

Affected by the adjustment, market participants were optimistic about the outlook for APT prices in China, expecting them to continue to rise in the short term due to scheduled maintenance halts at domestic APT plants in July and August. But the market trading needs to be followed under the instability in many aspects.
