Molybdenum Rod Price - July 20, 2020

Molybdenum market quotation in China: the prices of molybdenum concentrate, molybdenum oxide and molybdenum rod are unchanged in the first trading day in the week began on Monday July 20 when the market shows signs of rise. 

With the prices of most molybdenum chemical products still at relatively low levels, downstream users have a high sentiment to enter the market, coupled with the support of the active development of new and old infrastructure projects, and the less impact of the epidemic on the global macro economy, suppliers become reluctant to sell their products. 

In addition, the launch of a new round of tenders for steel mills is also a major factor in the increase in market activity. However, due to the influx of low-priced overseas sources into the domestic market in the early stage, product supply is still relatively loose, so it is difficult for market prices to rebound sharply.
