Tungsten Scheelite Associated Ore

As we all know, tungsten scheelite deposit is very complex. Tungsten scheelite is in poor grade, there area associated ores as well, including copper, molybdenum, bismuth, tin, lead, zinc, tantalum, niobium and calcite, fluorite, apatite, mica which containing calcium. 

In early times, technique of tungsten scheelite exploration is backward, incomplete separation makes accompanied element into tailings and causes huge waste. With development of technology, it is improved a lot. Now we can not only distinguish tungsten scheelite, but also create more profit source by separated associated ore and achieve integrated exploration efficiency.

Tungsten scheelite associated ore can be divided into sulphide ore and gangue minerals. Sulphide ore has metal element, is easy to separate and has economic value. Gangue minerals contain calcium, only flotation method can separate it.

The valued associated ore includes copper, molybdenum, bismuth, tantalum, niobium and tin. So the first step of tungsten scheelite flotation is separating sulphide mineral, desulfurizing agent is xanthate or black powder. Principle of sulphide mineral is: 1)Priority flotation. 2)Mix-priority flotation. 3)Part mixing flotation. 4)Iso-flotation.
