Tungsten Concentrate COBA Chelating Collecting Agent

During flotation process, collecting agent will change surface dewatering property of tungsten element, floating tungsten grains will attach to bubble. Since chelating collecting agent has better selectivity for metal, chelating agent gains wider application in tungsten concentrate flotation. 

COBA is a newly developed agent. Compared to others, it has advantages of good selectivity and collecting capability, also very cheap.

COBA chelating collecting agent is a cheap chemical material and can be easily accessed. It is polyfunctional group chelating collecting agent composed by carboxyl and hydroxamic.

COBA chelating collecting agent has fine collecting property. But when use it alone, concentrate can not float. When mix it with sodium oleate, its collecting property can be maximum.

Research shows that use collecting agent composed by COBA and sodium oleate, when using amount is 3×10^-5mol/ L, recycle rate is 90%. When using amount is 5×10^-5mol/ L, recycle rate is 99.1%. When use sodium oleate alone, agent using amount is 8×10^-5mol/ L, recycle rate is 90%. COBA reduces using amount of collecting agent to save cost.

COBA chelating collecting agent has good collecting property, it is very cheap. In the future, it will have broader application.
