Doped Tungsten Powder

Doped tungsten powder is tungsten powder doped with dopant such as Al2O3, KCl, SiO2, it is raw material for producing tungsten products such as tungsten rod, tungsten wire, tungsten alloy and so on. It is mainly used to produce doped tungsten wire.

Doped tungsten powder production have three main steps, doping, reduction and acid cleaning. Generally, doping process is reducing tungsten trioxide or ammonium paratungstate into blue tungsten oxide, then doped by moist method or spraying method. After doping, tungsten oxide is reduced by hydrogen into tungsten dioxide, then reduced to tungsten powder. Acid cleaning with 5% hydro fluoride acid, after drying, doping tungsten powder is obtained.

Doping tungsten powder has wide application, such as heat resistance spare part, filament, emission cathode tube, semiconductor spring, etc..
