The binder should have strong liquidity which the viscosity is small and stable under certain extrusion temperature. After it cools down, it should be strengthened and has small molecular weight. The binder should have high adhesion and no chemical reaction with carbide powder. It should also be environmental protection, low cost, stable, no volatility, high thermal conductivity, corrosion free, long service life, etc. If the improper tungsten carbide rod extrusion binder is used, it may cause the tungsten carbide rod deformed, affects its density, stability and property.
