Tungsten Carbide Stone Carving Chisels

Tungsten carbide stone carving chisels is used for stone cutting. There is a wide variety of types and styles, including lettering chisels, points, pitching tools, and claw chisels. Chisels in turn may be hand held and hammered or pneumatic powered.

Tungsten carbide stone carving chisels are usually mounted with tungsten carbide-based tip or work surface, which also could be forged, slotted, and carbide inserts brazed in. Because of  its extreme hardness and high resistance to scratching, as well as its brittleness, it is prone to chip, crack, or shatter in stone carving applications.
