Standard Enthalpy of Formation APT

Monoclinic ammonium pararungstate,(NH4)10H2W12O42H2O(s), is an essential intermediate compound in the extration of tungsten from its ores. The knowledge of the properties of ammonium paratungstete is desiable for controlling its crystallization and its thermal decomposition .However ,the study on the thermodynamic properties has not been reported . in the present work ,the enthalpy of reaction for the thermal decomposition of ammonium pararungstate was measured , and its standard enthalpy of formation at 298.15K is obtained .
