W-Ni-Cu Alloy Protective Screen

W-Ni-Cu alloy protective screen, or tungsten nickel copper alloy protective screen, is a new type of lead-free medical radiation shielding screen. The biggest difference between tungsten nickel copper alloy protective screen and tungsten nickel iron alloy protective screen (W-Ni-Fe alloy protective screen) is that W -Ni-Cu alloy is non-magnetic, so that it can be used in the field sensitive to the magnetic environment, and then exert its unique anti-interference advantages.

As a lead-free shield, W-Ni-Cu alloy protective screen has a higher density (~18.8g/cm3) than lead screen, so its radiation shielding ability is better. Studies have shown that under the same thickness, the radiation shielding ability of tungsten alloy is more than 1.7 times that of lead. When the radiation is stronger, the difference between the two's shielding ability is more obvious. In other words, the thickness of the tungsten alloy screen is much thinner than that of the lead screen, while exerting excellent X-ray shielding performance.
