Tungsten alloy sheet is applied for a CT detector (X-ray detector) to shield X-ray radiation. Tungsten alloy sheet is made of W-Ni-Fe alloy - an alloy composed of a small amount of nickel, iron and other alloying elements using tungsten as the matrix, and has a high density (~18.8g/cm3) and a high energy ray absorption capacity (1/3 higher radiation absorption coefficient than lead), so that it is widely used in the radiation protection and guidance of CT detectors to provide radiation protection for medical workers, patients and their family members.

CT detector, as the core of CT scanner, has attracted much attention in the past 4 months because of the novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19). You know, one of the screening methods of COVID-19 is to get medical images of lungs by a CT scanner. It means that radiation protection parts such as tungsten alloy sheets have also received more attention as there are radiation for X-ray imaging on a CT machine.
Specification of tungsten alloy sheet for CT detector: 1800 * 150 * 0.02 mm (length x width x thickness). ChinaTungsten Online can also provide various types of tungsten and molybdenum (radiation protection) components for CT machines according to your drawings and special requirements.
