All Solid State Tungsten Oxide Electrochromic Device

Electrochromism refers to the phenomenon that the optical properties (transmissivity, reflectance or absorptivity) of materials in the ultraviolet, visible or (and) near infrared region produce stable and reversible changes under the action of external electric field, which shows reversible changes of color and transparency in appearance.

Nowadays, all solid state electrochromic devices have been developed. All solid-state electrochromic devices include two-sided all solid-state electrochromic devices and one-sided all solid-state electrochromic devices. Among them, the two-sided all solid-state electrochromic device is prepared by sandwiching the electrochromic target between two transparent substrates. The all solid-state electrochromic device manufactured by this method is the two-sided all solid-state electrochromic device; the one-sided all solid-state electrochromic device is obtained by depositing the electrochromic target on the same side of the single transparent substrate. The preparation method of all solid state tungsten oxide electrochromic device includes the following steps:

(1)prepare slurry a and slurry B respectively. Slurry a is the raw material slurry of transparent conductive layer, and slurry B is the mixture made by mixing the raw material of electrochromic layer, electrolyte layer and auxiliary color layer according to the quality ratio of 2.5-3.5:3.5-4.5:0.5-1.5;

(2)all solid state tungsten oxide electrochromic devices are fabricated by depositing three layers of a slurry layer, B slurry layer and a slurry layer on transparent substrate.

In the above preparation process, the electrochromic raw materials, the electrolyte layer raw materials and the auxiliary color layer raw materials are uniformly mixed. The ions of the electrochromic raw materials can be quickly diffused to the auxiliary color layer by the electrolyte layer raw materials as the conducting medium. Therefore, the ion diffusion distance in the whole electrochromic device is short, that is, the overall resistance of the electrochromic device becomes smaller and the reaction speed changes Hurry up.
