Tungsten Oxide Ethanol Gas Sensing Material

Ethanol gas sensor can be used to detect ethanol content in drunk driving inspection or industrial production, avoiding traffic accidents or production safety accidents, and has important practical value. In recent years, tungsten oxide with ethanol sensing properties has attracted the attention of researchers and researchers.

In order to solve the technical problems of the existing tungsten oxide-based electrical ethanol gas sensing measurement methods, such as high working temperature, complex device processing, and susceptible to external electromagnetic interference, some scholars used tungsten oxide nanorods as one-dimensional materials to prepare ethanol gas sensing materials by hydrothermal method. The process is as follows:

1.Preparation of tungsten oxide nanorods by hydrothermal method: under the condition of magnetic stirring, add 2 mol/L sulfuric acid solution to the solution at pH of 1-1.5, stir for 30-40 min, add (NH4)2SO4 and oxalic acid under the condition of magnetic stirring, stir for 30-40 min, then transfer to the hydrothermal reactor at 180-2 ℃. The product obtained by hydrothermal reaction was washed with deionized water for three times at 00 ~℃, then washed with ethanol for three times, and dried at 80 ~℃ for four hours to obtain tungsten oxide nanorod powder as optical temperature sensing material. The molar ratio of (NH4)2SO4 and Na2(WO4)·2H2O is 1:(0.11~0.13); the molar ratio of oxalic acid and Na2(WO4)·2H2O is 1:(0.36~0.37);

2.Preparing tungsten oxide gas sensing element: Dispersing the optical temperature sensing material tungsten oxide nanorod powder prepared in step one into the solvent, the tungsten oxide solution of 0.01mol/L-0.1mol/L is obtained. The solution of 0.01mol/L-0.1mol/L of 25-100 ugL is uniformly coated on the base, and dried for 30-60 minutes at 60-100 degrees Celsius, and then argon isoionization is carried out. Tungsten oxide gas sensing element is obtained by cleaning the daughter body or annealing in argon atmosphere. The power of argon plasma cleaning is 10W-50W and the cleaning time is 5min-30min. The annealing temperature in argon atmosphere is 200-400 C and the annealing time is 1h. The size of the substrate is 8mm*12mm.

The prepared tungsten oxide nanorod powder is hexagonal tungsten oxide with good crystallization quality. Detection of unknown concentration of ethanol gas: Tungsten oxide gas sensor is excited by excitation light at 325 nm in the atmosphere of unknown concentration of ethanol. Its fluorescence intensity value F is 440 nm and F is 203573. It does not need the processing of heating parts in the process of electrical devices. It simplifies the processing process and reduces the cost of equipment processing.
