Typical semiconductor metal oxides such as titanium dioxide and tungsten trioxide have become the most widely studied and applied metal oxides due to their low cost, non-toxic, harmless, stable biological and chemical properties, and light corrosion resistance.
Titanium dioxide and tungsten trioxide have been widely used as photochromic materials in energy saving and environmental protection. Tungsten ions and titanium ions are similar in size and can be doped into the lattice of titanium dioxide to produce visible light activity. Therefore, tungsten modified titanium dioxide has become a research direction.
The results show that tungsten trioxide can accept and store photogenerated electrons produced by titanium dioxide, and release these stored electrons under dark conditions. It can also be used in chemical processes involving all electrons, such as heavy metal reduction, water decomposition, metal corrosion protection, etc. Therefore, the composite structure of titanium dioxide and tungsten trioxide has attracted wide attention, and the preparation of thin film electrodes of titanium dioxide-tungsten trioxide nanocomposites is the key to the application of electronic storage.
The preparation method comprises the following steps:
(1)Surface pretreatment of metal titanium: First, the metal titanium was cleaned with deionized water and acetone, then etched in the etching solution containing hydrofluoric acid/nitric acid, and then washed and dried with deionized water to obtain a clean surface of metal titanium.
(2)Precursor films were formed on the surface of titanium metal: the clean surface of the etched titanium metal was impregnated in the pre-prepared oxidizing solution and kept for 2-72 hours at 60-120 ℃.
(3)Heat treatment of thin films: Titanium oxide nanocomposite films with crystalline structure and functionalized surface were obtained by washing and drying the oxidized titanium and calcining it at a certain temperature for a certain time.
Titanium dioxide-tungsten trioxide nanocomposite films were prepared by chemical oxidation method. This method is easy to amplify, and one-step oxidation method can prepare both titanium oxide and tungsten oxide simultaneously. The contact between the two nanostructures is good, which is conducive to electron transport. No other impurity elements are introduced into the oxidation solution, and the oxide films prepared have high purity. Therefore, the thin film electrodes obtained will have good photocatalytic, photoelectric sensing and optical charging/discharging properties.
