In the field of medical CT machine collimators and detectors. With the development of CT machines, the current flatness requirements of collimators have increased from less than 0.03 to less than 0.015, which poses new challenges for the preparation of pure tungsten thin materials.

(1)Placing pure tungsten metal plates with thickness of 0.1 to 0.4 mm on the preheating roll mill for warm rolling, the feeding mode is single feeding, and the rolling deformation is 30% at the speed of about 12 tons of pressure and 200 to 600 r/min.

(2)After rolling, pure tungsten metal plates are evenly divided along the length direction and stacked along the thickness direction.

(3)Follow-up warm rolling is carried out by double-layer superimposed feeding method, and pure tungsten metal sheet is rolled to monolithic thickness on the roll mill to meet the thickness requirements.

The characteristics of the process are as follows:
(1)The raw material pure tungsten metal sheet is stacked in multi-layers along the thickness direction and rolled in multi-layers. Under the same rolling conditions (the same rolling mill, the same roll diameter and crown), the difference between the final pure tungsten sheet and the same plate is obviously reduced, and the rolling pressure is reduced by about 40%, the rolling times are reduced by about 50%, the energy consumption is small and the equipment loss is small.

(2)Breakthrough the control of deformation in rolling process, no need or reduce the number of intermediate annealing in rolling process, effectively save energy consumption, shorten the production process and cycle.

(3)The difference between the final pure tungsten metal plate and the same plate is about +3 um. The flatness of the final product can be raised from 0.02mm to 0.015mm after cutting the same specifications.
