Comprehensive Recovery Strategy of Tungsten Molybdenum Bismuth Fluorite Polymetallic Ore

Shizhuyuan Tungsten-Molybdenum-Bismuth Polymetallic Ore in Hunan Province, China belongs to a large SKARN-TYPE polymetallic ore body. There are many valuable minerals in the ore with complex distribution relationship and low grade. It is difficult to separate more than 20 kinds of ore, such as tungsten, molybdenum, bismuth, iron and fluorite. How to effectively separate and comprehensively recover valuable minerals has become a hot academic topic for scholars at home and abroad.
There are two types of ore bodies in this mine, one is tungsten-molybdenum-bismuth fluorite polymetallic ore with low iron content, the other is iron-tungsten-molybdenum-bismuth fluorite polymetallic ore with high iron content. For the first tungsten-molybdenum-bismuth-fluorite polymetallic ore with low iron content, some scholars have proposed a recovery scheme, which includes the following steps:
1.According to the characteristics of high molybdenum, low bismuth and high sulphur, the crude flotation of molybdenum, bismuth and sulphur is adopted. The mixed concentrate of molybdenum and bismuth and a part of floatable pyrite is obtained by crude flotation. Then the mixed concentrate of molybdenum and bismuth is depressed by sulphur suppression flotation and the mixed concentrate of molybdenum and bismuth.
2.Removal of sulfur-bearing minerals by pyrite flotation in order to facilitate the next step of tungsten mineral flotation;
3.Recovery of iron ore by magnetic separation;
4.In tungsten flotation, tungsten concentrate with 6%-14% WO3 content was obtained by using high-efficiency gangue mineral inhibitor, and tungsten concentrate products were obtained by heating and concentrating.
5.In fluorite flotation, fluorite concentrate is regrinded, some middle ore is discarded and some middle ore is returned centrally to obtain qualified fluorite concentrate.
6.Recovery of garnet by magnetic separation or gravity separation.
According to the characteristics of high molybdenum content and low bismuth content in raw ore, the flotation process of tungsten-molybdenum-bismuth-fluorite complex multi-gold metal ore adopts sulfur-suppressed flotation, molybdenum-bismuth-molybdenum-bismuth separation and separation technology; the flotation of fluorite adopts unique crude and middle ore return flotation technology, special calcium-bearing gangue mineral inhibitor; tungsten flotation is supplemented by gangue inhibitor with high efficiency and good selectivity, and magnetic separation. Six concentrates of tungsten, molybdenum, bismuth, iron, fluorite and garnet were obtained. The total yield of these six concentrates was over 59.7%, and the discarding rate of tailings was 40.3%. The most effective comprehensive recovery of mineral resources was achieved.
