The existing scheelite is mainly recovered by two methods: one is the "Petrov method" with flotation as the main method, in which sodium carbonate is used as adjusting agent, sodium silicate as inhibitor and fatty acid as collector for normal temperature flotation to obtain high-grade (about 2%) tungsten crude concentrate, the other is the concentrated slurry heating concentrate. Gravity separation is mainly a combined process of gravity and flotation. According to the uneven distribution of scheelite particle size, the method adopts the principle of "stage grinding - stage separation" to carry out gravity separation and recovery, the obtained tungsten fine mud is recovered by flotation.
In order to overcome the low comprehensive recovery rate of scheelite and break through the bottleneck of high efficient recovery of tungsten slime, a scholar has put forward a method of processing refractory low grade scheelite.
Grinding scheelite ore, the coarse mineral concentrate and tailings I of the slime are obtained by grinding the slurry. The tailings I were swept to get the middle slime I and the tailings II, the middle slime I was returned to the upper layer of the slime roughing operation. The mineral concentrate is selected from the coarse concentrate of the sludge, and the mineral products and slime middling are obtained. Slime concentrating operation of returning middle slime III and tailings III to the upper layer is obtained by slime re-dressing of middle slime II. The combination of tailings II and tailings III is carried out to obtain scheelite rough concentrate and tailings IV. The scheelite crude concentrate is concentrated five times to obtain the tungsten concentrate, and the five concentrates are returned to the upper layer in sequence. The wolframite slowly selected coarse concentrate and tailings V were obtained by slowly selecting scheelite from tailing IV. The centrifugal gravity concentrate and the centrifugal gravity tailings were obtained by merging the two slow concentrates. The centrifugal gravity concentrate was returned to the slow concentrate I operation. The tailings V were swept three times to get scheelite flotation tailings and three swept middlings. The three swept middlings were returned to the upper layer in sequence. The tailings of scheelite flotation and centrifugal gravity separation were combined to get the total tailings.
