High Proportion Tungsten Alloy for Balancing Aircraft

The balance of aircraft load is the key link to ensure flight safety. Choosing and optimizing the balance device of aircraft's weight can make full use of the aircraft's payload and improve the efficiency of air transportation. High density tungsten alloy is small in size and easy to install and connect.

The balance block is set in a square, rectangular or circular structure. A fast connection structure is set on one side of the balance block to facilitate the fast connection and fixation of the balance block body and the fixed device in the aircraft. The weight balance block of high gravity tungsten alloy rectangular or circular structure, one side of the block has a fast connection structure to facilitate the fast connection and fixation of the balance block body and the fixed device in the aircraft. Tungsten heavy metal alloys contain tungsten, nickel and copper. The manufacturing process is as follows:

(1) Mix tungsten powder with nickel powder, iron powder and copper powder according to the weight percentage, and then mix and screen them, then put them in the ball mill for further mixing and milling. The time is controlled for 12-19 hours.

(2) Check and adjust, at least stop to take sample two times, carry out the detection and analysis of each raw material element content, add appropriate amount of raw materials according to the test results.

(3) Pressing, taking the amount of a balance block product from the mixed powder, placing it in a special pressing die, using a fully automatic split multistage floating mold frame, through the multistage floating on the automatic hydraulic machine, to automatically move powder and press into blank.

(4) Sintering firstly, the obtained blank is put into the high temperature muffle furnace, and the hydrogen is transferred into the muffle furnace as a protective gas in the sintering process. The sintering temperature is controlled at 900-1650°C.

(5) The sintered balance block blank was reshaped by plastic mold to remove burrs.

(6) Turning, punching and leveling the semi-finished products of the balance block, improving the surface roughness of the products.

(7) Paste and wrap, glue the velcro on the bottom of the balance block, and finally wrap it.

The high weight tungsten alloy material is used to make the weight balancing block of the aircraft, with large density and small volume. According to the weight of the balance block, we can choose to use the fast connection structure, or use the bolt connection, not only the aircraft, but also the ship, the car and so on to the high proportion tungsten alloy.
