The modified tungsten tailings powder was added to polyvinyl chloride or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, and the mass ratio of modified tungsten tailings to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) was 0.3-1:1. The mixed powder is added into a mixer for 30 min, the modified tungsten tailings accounts for 60% of the PVC resin, and the mixed powder is added into a twin-screw extruder, and extruded and cooled for cutting to obtain the finished PVC plastic pipe.

The method has the advantages of simple process, can make use of tungsten tailings production of plastic filler, because of containing large amounts of garnet, tungsten tailings with high hardness, wear resistance and can effectively improve the quality of plastic products, greatly improve the comprehensive utilization value of tungsten tailings, has economic effect and environmental effect is very good.
