Tungsten Oxide Nano Flower XRD Spectrum

XRD patterns of tungsten oxide nanoball structures grown at a substrate temperature of 800 ° C for a holding time of 15 minutes. The diffraction peak at 23.5 ° in the XRD spectrum corresponds to the monoclinic γ-phase tungsten oxide surface, while the diffraction peaks at 41 °, 58 ° and 74 ° correspond to the cubic tungsten element. Among them, the diffraction peak of crystal orientation is stronger, so the crystallinity of tungsten oxide is higher on the crystal orientation, and the lattice constant is 0.3728 nm.
The tungsten oxide nanoball structure can be composed of tungsten and tungsten oxide from the XRD pattern, but the composition of the nanorods is not yet known. In order to obtain the crystal structure of nanorods, the transmission electron microscopy was used to obtain the SEM image of the tip of tungsten oxide nanorods. The lattice constant of the nanorods was 0.373 nm. The lattice constant corresponds to the lattice constant of the nanorods, indicating that the composition of the nanorods is tungsten oxide, and that the tungsten oxide nanorods grow preferentially along the structural plane.
It is observed that there is a clear boundary of tungsten oxide nanoball structures. Within the boundaries, the distribution of tungsten is more concentrated. Outside the boundary, the concentration of tungsten decreases sharply, while the oxygen concentration has no obvious boundary effect. It can be seen from the previous section that the nanorods are connected to the core, and the composition of the nanorods is tungsten oxide by XRD. It can be observed that oxygen is present both in the core and in the outer shell, but that the tungsten element is mainly concentrated in the core, which probably corresponds to the presence of cubic system elemental tungsten in the XRD pattern. Therefore, it can be speculated that during the thermal oxidation process, the tungsten particles are not completely oxidized, and the core of the tungsten oxide is still the elemental tungsten.
