Nano-Tungsten Oxide Absorb Light

Nano-tungsten oxide is a kind of semiconductor functional material with catalytic, invisible features, electrochromism, superconductivity and many other features. There are more studies on the electrical properties and photocatalytic properties of nano-sized tungsten oxide. However, the research on the optical properties of nano-sized tungsten oxide and its semiconductor nano-particles has yet to be developed and applied. Using liquid phase technology is the main preparation of nano-tungsten oxide, such as: precipitation, hydrothermal method, microemulsion method, sol-gel method.

Nanometer tungsten oxide as a semiconductor material, the surface of the ion resonance can absorb light of a specific wavelength. If the nano-tungsten oxide is reduced to a certain extent, a large amount of free electrons can be collected on the surface of the nano-tungsten oxide so that the nano-tungsten oxide has the property of near-infrared absorption by plasma resonance and effectively blocks the heat. When the nano-tungsten oxide introduces a large amount of free electrons through the reduction treatment, the nano-tungsten oxide and its composite still have stable structure and physico-chemical properties and can maintain the stability of the absorption performance under the irradiation of sunlight for a long time.
