Tungsten Mining (ASX: TGN) is advancing assessment of its flagship Kilba Project (100%) in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia, with the aim of making a rapid transition to production. To that end, the Company expects to define a JORC compliant resource during the June quarter 2013 and has already commenced feasibility studies that will continue through to Sept quarter 2013.

TGN expects to be in the position to make a final investment decision (FID) in first quarter of 2014, which could result in first tungsten trioxide concentrate production as soon Sept quarter 2013.

Wolf Minerals (ASX:WLF) and the Company’s Hemerdon Tungsten Project.

Wolf Minerals is in the final stages of securing finance to advance the Hemerdon Ball tungsten and tin project into production. This is a major achievement and is testament to sound management and a quality project. The EPC contract has now been awarded to GR Engineering with the expected time of construction and commissioning scheduled for 24 months.

It is indicated a project NPV of £74M (A$ 108M or A$0.57/share) and assumed an ammonium paratungstate price of US$360/mtu and a tin price of US$30,000/t. Cash costs (after tin credits) were estimated at US$105/mtu.

Current ammonium paratungstate and tin pricing is US$351.5/mtu and US$24,600/t respectively. Based on commodity price sensitivity analysis and utilising average 2012 commodity prices.

Cadillac Ventures Inc. announced that the two Burnt Hill Property drilling programs focused on finding potential tungsten resource have been successful.

In 2012 a total of 2330.08m were drilled over a total of 10 drill holes, 1836 samples were taken which included 114 standards, 114 blanks, 114 double splits and 58 coarse rejects. Each of the completed holes successfully intersected mineralization above the cut-off grades used in the resource calculation.

With the exception of hole BH-11-07 which intersected an unknown shaft at 11m and was abandoned. Samples selected were assayed for tungsten, tin and molybdenum.
