Rare earth Refinery Hazards

Australia's Lynas Malaysian company is building the world's largest rare earth refinery, the rare earth refinery is located 25 km from the gabion densely populated fishing village and tourist resort in Kuantan, Pahang,rare earth refining process requires large amounts of water and chemicals, leaving a lot of solid, gaseous and liquid wastes after refining.
