【Know Tungsten】Cesium Tungsten Bronze Solvent

1.Brief introduction

Block infrared rays at 950nm (up to 95% at 1400nm), mainly used for various plastic and glass films.

2. Main components

Nano-ceramic powder, dispersant, and toluene (optional).

3. Advantage

Compared with the traditional infrared blocking coating solution, the solvent has long weather resistance and excellent performance of not attenuating with time and environmental humidity.

4.Main content

The appearance is dark blue liquid, cesium tungsten bronze solid content is 25%, the dispersing base is toluene.

5. Property

(1) High light transmission and high infrared blocking. When the visible light transmittance is 70%, the infrared blocking rate at 950nm can reach more than 90% (up to 95% at 1400nm).

(2) Wide adaptability, can be dispersed in various resin systems such as acrylic, polyester, and silicone.

(3)Clear, transparent and low haze value (evenly dispersed in resin, haze is less than 1 after coating and drying).

6. Use instruction

(1) The coated substrate should be cleaned first to ensure that the surface is free of dust, oil and other impurities.

(2) The surface of the plastic film needs to be corona treated before coating, in order to increase the adhesion of the coating.

(3) The wet film thickness is 5-10µm. According to the properties of different substrates, it can be dried at about 100 degrees.

7. Storage

Sealed in cool and dry place, stored over 6 months may have low degree of reunite for nano particles.
