World’s Highest Bridge Opens to Traffic

It is reported the world’s highest bridge, named Beipanjiang Bridge, is open to traffic on Dec. 29, 2016. The bridge connects Guizhou and Yunnan, China. It has been the highest bridge all around the world for the bridge is 565meters again the river surface, with total length of 1341.40meters. The heights of east and west bridge piers are 269meters and 247meters. It took four years to finish such a bridge with many difficulties.
