Tungsten Alloy Swaging Rod for Sea Skua

Tungsten alloy swaging rod consists of W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu, W-Ni-Cu-Fe. It is made of tungsten alloy rod. Tungsten content ranges from 90% to 97%. Compared with tungsten alloy rod, tungsten alloy swaging rod has higher hardness and higher strength. Tungsten alloy swaging rod can be used as raw materials for Sea Skua.

The Sea Skua is a British lightweight short-range air-to-surface missile (ASM) designed for use from helicopters against ships. It is primarily used by the Royal Navy on the Westland Lynx helicopter, although Kuwait uses it in a shore battery and on their Umm Al Maradem (Combattante BR-42) fast attack craft.

Semi-armor-piercing-penetrator made of tungsten alloy swaging rod is adopted by Sea Skua. The warhead can carry kinetic energy to penetrate armor on ship for high density and high hardness of tungsten alloy swaging rod.
