Tungsten Alloy Swaging Rod for Shershen

Tungsten alloy swaging rod is made of tungsten alloy rod through calcinations. The normal method used in the processing are extruding, forging and sintering. After calcinations, tungsten alloy swaging rod has higher ductility, toughness and tensile strength than tungsten alloy rod, so it can be used for a longer time. Tungtsen alloy swaging rod is widely used in Shershen.

The Shershen is a Belarussian third generation anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) that is designed to defeat modern armored vehicles, protected objects (such as bunkers, pillboxes, earth-and-timber emplacements) and low-speed low-altitude targets (helicopters, UAVs). Being a logical extension of the ATGM "Skif", "Shershen" beats it in technologies level, as well as implements engineering solutions that are unique among the others.

Tungsten alloy swaging rod has high density and high hardness. So Shershen used tungsten alloy swaging rod as its warhead to penetrate armor.
