Tungsten Oxide Powder Applied for WO3-TiO2 Electrochromic Film

Tungsten oxide powder for preparing a WO3-TiO2 electrochromic film is an electrochromic material that is very promising in information, electronics, energy, energy-saving building and national defense. WO3 is also a function material we are more familiar with. Some experts have successfully prepared a stable tungsten oxide gel with tungstic acid as a raw material, and prepared a tungsten trioxide electrochromic thin film doped with TiO2 by a sol-dip-coating method and an electrophoretic deposition method.

XRD pattern of tungsten oxide gel

Wherein, the expert performed crystal phase analysis on the obtained gel. Specifically, after the TiO2 doped tungsten trioxide gel was heat-treated at 200°C, the sample was milled to about 300mesh, and the phase analysis was carried out by a D/MAX-IIA X-ray diffractometer. The results are shown in the above figure. As can be seen from the figure, WO3-TiO2 heat-treated at 200°C is amorphous. In addition, experts say that the gel polymer electrolyte using the PMMA system can be used to assemble an all-solid-state electrochromic device with better bleaching effect, but it requires a higher driving voltage and a longer response time.
