Tungsten Trioxide Applied for Semisolid Smart Window

Tungsten trioxide can be prepared into a WO3 electrochromic film for applying in the preparation of a semisolid smart window. Specifically, some experts have obtained a tungsten oxide electrochromic film by radio frequency magnetron sputtering and a nickel oxide film by DC magnetron reactive sputtering.

Next, the experts deposited the tungsten oxide film and the nickel oxide film on two 5cm×5cm ITO conductive glass substrates, and then placed the two film faces in parallel, 0.6cm apart, and sealed with rubber and epoxy. The prepared LiClO4-PC was injected into the interlayer with a syringe to form a G/ITO/WO3/LiClO4-PC/NiO/ITO/G complementary structure smart window device (type A) as shown in the figure (a) above. In contrast, the experts also assembled a smart window device (type B) with a G/ITO/NiO/LiClO4-PC/ITO/G single-layer electrochromic film structure of 10cm×10cm, as shown in figure (b) above. Among them, 1 is glass, 2 is ITO film, 3 is WO3 film, 4 is NiO film, 5 is sealing ring, 6 is electrolyte, and 7 is transparent glass case.
