Experts said that in the current research hydrothermal method is also used to prepare hydrated tungsten trioxide thin film, focusing on shortening the hydrothermal reaction time, reducing the hydrothermal reaction temperature, and simplifying the hydrothermal step. And the WO3 electrochromic films with excellent properties can be prepared. However, the current industrialization of the hydrothermal film forming process still has problems, and the preparation of large-area products and production safety are still obstacles to large-scale application. Therefore, developing a simple and suitable film production process for WO3 electrochromic thin films is still the focus of academic and industrial circles. The development of this process is gradual, and now it can be electrophoretic deposition process.
