As you may have known, tungsten oxide is the most studied electrochromic material currently. Scientists have extensively studied the electrochromic optical properties of tungsten trioxide thin films, and their doping characteristics have also attracted their attention. This is because the absorption peak of the tungsten trioxide film is 1.4eV, and the sensitivity peak of the human eye is 2.25eV. That is to say, the absorption peak of the tungsten trioxide film is not in the sensitive area of the human eye. While the mixed oxide containing tungsten trioxide can improve the position of the absorption peak to make it closer to the sensitive peak of the human eye, and more in line with the human visual response characteristics.
