China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association Declined Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for March 2023

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association (GTA) and listed tungsten companies lowered down their guide prices for the first half of March 2023, which weakened market confidence to some extent. 

GTA released its average tungsten forecast prices for March: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $17,846.2/ton, down $461.5/ton; ammonium paratungstate (APT) price was $309.4/mtu, down $7.0/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $42.5/kg, down $0.6/kg compared with February 2023. 

Jiangxi Tungsten quoted high grade black tungsten concentrate at $18,461.5/ton, down $76.9/ton compared with the second half of February 2023. 

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price at $307.7/mtu, down $3.5/mtu compared with the second half of February 2023.
