In terms of news: Baotou Daily shows that from January to July 2022, 39 rare earth enterprises above designated size in Baotou Rare Earth High-tech Zone achieved a total industrial output value of 28.02 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 147%. From the perspective of industry type, raw material enterprises, new material enterprises, and terminal application enterprises achieved output values of 17.644 billion yuan, 8.99 billion yuan, and 1.386 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 221%, 81.2%, and 54.6% year-on-year. Among the new material enterprises, permanent magnet material enterprises, hydrogen storage material enterprises, and polishing material enterprises achieved output values of 8.504 billion yuan, 295 million yuan, and 191 million yuan respectively. In terms of economic type, the seven state-owned and state-controlled enterprises completed a total output value of 18.667 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 193.8%, accounting for 67% of the total output value of the rare earth industry.
