China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association Raised Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for August

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

At the beginning of the week, China tungsten price is strong with the impact of the increase in new guide prices from state-owned companies and tungsten association. The rise was beneficial from high costs and eased stock pressure.

It is worth noting that the current demand follow-up status of downstream terminals is still weak. On the one hand, it is affected by the off-season effect; on the other hand, it is affected by macroscopic unstable factors and poor trading initiative.

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten Association released its average tungsten forecast prices for August: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $17,384.6/ton, up $923.1/ton; APT price was $303.3/mtu, up $13.0/mtu; medium particle tungsten powder price was $41.5/kg, up $1.8/kg compared with July.

Xiamen Tungsten quoted APT bid price at $299.0/mtu, up $8.7/mtu from the second half of July.
