Praseodymium Oxide Price - April 12, 2021

Rare earth market quotation in China: praseodymium oxide and neodymium oxide prices edge higher on April 12, 2021 due to quiet market trading. 

At present, magnetic material companies are not active in inquiries and purchases, and mostly destock, which makes it difficult to increase product prices. However, due to the full implementation of the work of the central environmental protection inspector, many rare earth companies have reduced their production capacity. Therefore, the increase in raw material inventories is limited, and the probability of a sharp drop in transaction prices is unlikely in the short term. 

The listing price of Northern Rare Earths this month shows that the listing price of lanthanum oxide is 10,800 yuan/ton; the listing price of cerium oxide is 10,800 yuan/ton; the listing price of praseodymium oxide is 583,200 yuan/ton; the listing price of neodymium oxide is 637,300 yuan/ton, down 58,500 yuan/ton; the listing price of neodymium metal is 715,000 yuan/ton; the listing price of neodymium metal is 780,000 yuan/ton, down 70,000 yuan/ton.
