Ganzhou Tungsten Association Raised Average Tungsten Forecast Prices for January 2021

Analysis of latest tungsten market from Chinatungsten Online

A new round of average tungsten forecast prices from Ganzhou Tungsten Association and offers from listed tungsten companies for January were raised slightly, which keeps in line with market trend. Now market confidence is boosted and transactions are excepted to increase in the short term. 

China’s Ganzhou Tungsten released its average tungsten forecast prices for January, 2021: 55% black tungsten concentrate price was $13,619 per tone, up $444.4 per tone from December, 2020; ammonium paratungstate(APT) price was $235.3 per mtu, up $7.9 per mtu from December; medium particle tungsten powder price was $33.3 per kilogram, up $1.6 per kilogram. 

Zhangyuan Tungsten’s offers for the first half of January: black tungsten concentrate (WO3≥55%) was quoted at $13,619 per tone, up $206.3 per tone compared with the second half of December 2020; scheelite concentrate was quoted at $13,460.4 per tone, up $285.7 per tone; APT was quoted at $235.3 per mtu, up $3.9 per mtu. 

Jiangxi Tungsten’s offer for high-grade black tungsten concentrate was $13,968.3 per tone, up $317.5 per tone compared with December 2020.
