Chinese tungsten powder and ferro tungsten prices stay firm with the recovery of logistics, increased operating rate of enterprises and rising supply of raw materials. But the terminal side still remains cautious to purchase affected by the coronavirus. The supply and demand sides are in a stalemate and deals are rarely concluded. 

The tungsten concentrate prices have been firm since the Spring Festival. Many miners and APT plants are unable to resume production or are only able to run at a very low operational rates in February under the strict anti-epidemic requirements. With the support of tight supply, high costs, APT and tungsten powder prices rise to 241/mtu and 36/kg, respectively.
