Once you become a killer, the job now is to kill all your opponents. You accomplish this by hitting the double of their number and they kill you by hitting the double of your number. One important note, if Corner sealed his second Challenge Tour title of the year by beating Mike Norton, whilst youngster Reynolds defeated Christopher Quantock in the day’s second event.
Corner began strongly as he secured back-to-back 5-1 victories in his opening matches against Vernon Sheppard and Andy Pearson before defeating Wayne Thomas 5-3 to win his board.
The 53-year-old would then defeat Mark Lawrence in his following match before comfortably seeing off Shaun Griffiths – who has already won two Challenge Tour events in 2015 – 5-1 in the Last 16.
Another comprehensive victory would follow in the quarter-finals as he whitewashed Ryan Searle 5-0, before sealing the £2,000 top prize with two deciding leg victories against Jonathan Worsley and Mike Norton.
Two-time PDC Development Tour winner Reynolds also started strongly in the day’s second event as he won his board with confident victories against Richard Calvert (5-1), Diogo Portela (5-3) and Mark Carter (5-1).
The Welshman would then defeat Matthew Dennant (5-3) and Sam Hamilton (5-2) to reach the quarter-finals, where he would edge out Ian Walters, winning in a deciding leg 5-4.
After seeing off Ian McFarlane 5-3 in the semi-finals, Reynolds defeated Christopher Quantock by the same scoreline in the final to seal a third PDC title and round off an impressive two days at the oche, having also finished runner-up to Jan Dekker in the first event of the weekend.

World Matchplay (darts)
- Details

The World Matchplay, also known as the BetVictor World Matchplay for sponsorship purposes, is a professional darts tournament. It is played in a legs format, and is run by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Phil Taylor is the reigning champion.
The World Matchplay has been played annually since 1994 in the Empress Ballroom at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool. The first ever winner was Larry Butler, who beat Dennis Priestley 16-12, and the current holder is Phil Taylor. It is regarded as the second biggest PDC Tournament, status shown by the fact the whole tournament was sold out within three days of the tickets being on sale.
The 1995 World Matchplay turned out to be Jocky Wilson's last appearance in a major televised event. Wilson had reached the quarter-finals of the inaugural tournament in 1994 and he beat Rod Harrington in the 1st round in 1995, but a 2nd round defeat against Nigel Justice was effectively the end of his career.
From 1994 to 2012, matches at the World Matchplay had to won by two clear legs. For example the first round was usually played over the first to 10 legs, but if the score reached 9-9, play continued until either player gained a two leg lead. Starting with the 2013 World Matchplay, if a two leg lead hadn't been established after six extra legs, then a sudden death leg is played, so sudden death would come into play in a first round match at 12-12.

The 54-year-old Stoke legend will open his challenge to take his tally in Blackpool to 16 - which would match his total of World Championship triumphs - when he faces Scotsman Henderson in the first round of the £450,000 tournament.
The only other previous World Matchplay champion in the 32-player field for the 2015 event, world number six James Wade, will play Blackpool debutant Kyle Anderson in his first round tie at the Winter Gardens.
Gary Anderson, the World Champion, Premier League champion and Players Championship Finals winner, opens his challenge to claim a fourth major televised title inside 12 months against former World Champion Beaton.
World number one Michael van Gerwen, last year's beaten finalist in Blackpool who has already won The Masters and the UK Open in 2015, takes on fellow Dutchman Benito van de Pas in his first round game.
Number four seed Adrian Lewis, the 2013 runner-up, will play Joe Murnan, while UK Open and Japan Darts Masters finalist Peter Wright opens up against Kim Huybrechts in a mouth-watering first round clash .
World Youth Champion Keegan Brown will make his Winter Gardens debut against Robert Thornton, whilst Simon Whitlock takes on Jelle Klaasen and Raymond van Barneveld matches up with former World Championship runner-up Andy Hamilton in round one.

Super Thornton Takes First Euro Darts Crown

Thornton was back to his best on the final day as he defeated Jelle Klaasen and second seed James Wade before defeating Huybrechts 6-2 in the final to take the £25,000 top prize at the Maritim Hotel.
After beating Simon Whitlock in the afternoon session, Thornton was dealt a tough quarter-final draw as he matched up with Jelle Klaasen who was looking to continue his stunning form of late after winning last weekend’s Players Championship event in Wigan.
The Scot started well, kicking off with an 11-darter en route to opening up a 4-1 lead, before Klaasen found his form and took the next three legs to level. Thornton would regain his composure though as he took the final two legs to wrap up a 6-4 win and end the recent dominance of the Dutchman.
And things would not get any easier for the 47-year-old as he matched up with James Wade in the semi-finals, who was heading into the match on the back of an impressive 6-3 win over Vincent van der Voort.
But Thornton would make light work of his opponent as he produced the performance of the weekend, averaging 111.77 and landing four maximums during a 6-1 demolition of The Machine, landing an 11-darter and two 12-dart legs during the stunning victory.
And Thornton’s form would not desert him in the final as he stormed into a 3-0 lead against Huybrechts, before quickly extending that to 5-2 and finishing with a flourish, taking out 116 – his highest checkout of the match – in the final leg to secure the landmark success, averaging 106.18 in the process.
“I came into the tournament and I wasn’t really under any pressure because when I come to these European events I’m normally knocked out on the Saturday afternoon!” said Thornton.
“I’ve got to put the win down to my wife, she calls me a little Pit Bull Terrier and says that I never give in and I proved that tonight.
“I lost my mum last year and I thought to myself ‘calm yourself down and go and play tungsten darts’ but that wasn’t working. I’m a better player when I show my emotions and it’s taken a couple of months for it to come out but I played well.”
Huybrechts also enjoyed a tough route to the final as he survived a resurgence from Brendan Dolan to win 6-3 in the quarter-finals before then stunning world number one Michael van Gerwen to book his place in the final.
The Hurricane produced a fine display, dominating the clash against a below-par van Gerwen for long periods and running out an impressive 6-3 victor to reach his second European Tour final.

Szabo Seals World Tungsten Darts Championship Return

Rob Szabo has become the first International Qualifier to secure his place in the 2015-16 William Hill World Darts Championship, after taking victory in the Tungsten Dart Players New Zealand knockout.
Szabo came through last weekend's tough three-stage event at the Whangamata Club to book his spot at Alexandra Palace in December.
The 16-player DPNZ Qualifier saw the players initially split into four groups for the initial knockout phase, before the top two progressed to a second group stage.
A quartet of players then progressed to compete in the knockout semi-finals and final as Szabo eventually took a 9-3 win over Craig Caldwell in the final.
Szabo won two of his three games in the first Group Stage, only losing out 6-5 to Mike Day, before winning all three in the second Group Stage, before seeing off Cody Harris 8-5 in the semi-finals.
Caldwell also won two of his opening three games - losing 6-5 to Szabo - and won all three matches in the second stage before overcoming John Kelly 8-3 in the semis.
The win is Szabo's second in three years as he secured his return to the World Championship, having overcome Ian Moss in the preliminary round of the 2014 event at Alexandra Palace before losing 3-1 in Sets to Phil Taylor.
Szabo has also competed in the 2014 and 2015 PDC World Cup of Tungsten Darts events, partnering Caldwell in this year's tournament in Frankfurt last month.

England Edge Out Scotland to Win World Cup of Darts
- Details
- Category: Tungsten's News
- Published on Wednesday, 15 July 2015 08:51
The World Cup of Darts came to a fabulous conclusion on Sunday in Frankfurt, Germany, as the top seeds England and Scotland faced each other in a dramatic final. After the highly fancied Dutch pairing went out in the semis, the stage was set for England's Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis to take on Scotland's Gary Anderson and Peter Wright. In a tense final, the result went right down to the wire before England won 3-2.
Thirty-two countries contested the four-day tournament, with each nation represented by two players, the highest ranked players on the PDC rankings for each country.
In round one the legs were played out in the doubles format, each player alternating turns at the oche, with the first country to five legs winning the match.
Thereafter up to the final, the format changed to two singles matches, the first player to four legs winning their game. If the singles were shared, then a deciding doubles match was played.
England's run
England were the champions in 2012 and 2013, featuring the trusted duo of Taylor and Lewis, with 18 world titles between them. They began by whitewashing Denmark 5-0 and were just as conclusive in round two, knocking Japan out 2-0. Despite strong local support, Germany fared no better in the last-eight, losing 2-0 to the favourites.
Scotland's progress
Scotland had been equally commanding on their way through to the semis. A first round victory over Singapore 5-1 was proceeded by a 2-0 success over Hungary in round two. Hong Kong succumbed 2-0 in the quarter-finals.
Semi-finals
With the preliminary rounds concluded, the last-four clashes included Belgium (seeded 5th), who sneaked in after a 2-1 quarter-final success over the 4th seeded Australians:
England (1) v Belgium (5)
Scotland (2) v Netherlands (3)
England won two tight singles matches against Belgium's Huybrechts brothers, sealing their final's place with a 2-0 victory. Taylor beat Ronny 4-3, before Lewis overcame younger brother Kim 4-2.
The second semi-final was even closer, with world number one Michael van Gerwen partnering the five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld in the Dutch team. They shared the singles games: van Gerwen winning 4-3 against Wright; Anderson being a clear 4-1 winner over van Barneveld. The Scots romped to a 4-1 success in the deciding doubles match to put the Dutch out.
The final
The final proved to be a fitting finale. In many ways the format resembled the Davis Cup in tennis, with two singles games, a doubles game and then two further singles to complete the drama if required. The first team to three points would lift the title.
Taylor started in scintillating form, whitewashing Wright 4-0 and posting a three-dart average of 113.43, a record for the World Cup. Anderson was almost as convincing, levelling the scores with a 4-1 victory over Lewis.
Into the doubles, which the more experienced pairing of the English duo edged 4-3 but only just. Taylor appeared to have hit the wrong treble on his way to a 101 checkout, but gathered himself to hit double 4.
The match was extended into the deciding singles tie, after Anderson produced a stunning display with an average of 108.04 to overcome Taylor 4-1. Leg 3 proved to be crucial, as Taylor set up double top to break the throw, only for Anderson to complete a 150 check-out on double 15 to take the leg instead.
Lewis was to hold his nerve in his singles battle with Wright though, winning the game 4-1 with a 14-dart finish in the last leg to clinch the title for England.
As for professional game of dart, we recommend tungsten dart, tungsten is an extremely dense metal. It is also very durable, so a high-density tungsten dart resists wear and the knurling will last much longer.

Van Gerwen Ends Japanese Challenge
- Details
- Category: Tungsten's News
- Published on Wednesday, 15 July 2015 08:42
The PDC's first televised event in Japan saw an enthusiastic crowd of over 1,000 pack Yokohama's Osanbashi Hall to see eight leading domestic stars take on the sport's biggest names.
Van Barneveld began confidently with a 13-dart leg, but Aida led 2-1, 3-2 and 4-3 with some assured finishing of his own - until crucially missing one tungsten dart at double 16 in leg eight and missing the chance to open up a two-leg lead.
The five-time World Champion stepped in to follow up an earlier 107 checkout with a 104 finish, before moving 5-4 up on double five and then sealing victory with a 146 combination.
"I'm happy with the win but not happy with the way I played," said van Barneveld. "In the first couple of legs everything was fine, but I had a few sloppy legs after that.
"The three big finishes were important, especially the two at the end, but getting the win was all that mattered and I can prepare for the next day now."
Van Barneveld now takes on 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor, who defeated Masumi Chino 6-2 in another game which saw the Japanese ace impress.
Taylor landed two 180s as he took the game's first three legs, only for Chino to finish 69 to hit back in the fourth and double ten to pull back to 3-2.
Taylor, though, finished 135 to restore his breathing space before winning the next two legs to progress.
"It's very nerve-wracking coming up against a player you don't know much about, but he's a fantastic player who'll get better and better," said Taylor.
"We've had a wonderful reception from everyone in Japan and it's a tournament that we're all desperate to win tomorrow night."
World Champion Gary Anderson landed four 180s in his 6-2 defeat of Yuki Yamada, who took out 121 on the bull but was unable to match the Scot's power scoring.
Anderson will meet James Wade in the quarter-finals on Sunday evening, after the eight-time major winner defeated double World Championship qualifier Morihiro Hashimoto 6-2.
World number one Michael van Gerwen, who won the Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters a month ago, began his bid for another World Series title with a 13-minute whitewash of Chikara Fujimori.
Van Gerwen's quarter-final opponent will be Stephen Bunting, who hit six doubles from eight attempts in a clinical 6-1 win over Shintaro Inoue, whose only leg came with a 118 checkout.
"I don't think the scoreline reflected the game because he missed some doubles to go ahead and it could have been a different game if he had hit them," admitted Bunting.
"He showed what a fantastic player he is but he missed a few doubles early on, and six out of eight for me is probably as well as I've finished all year."
Adrian Lewis swept past Sho Katsumi with a 6-0 whitewash to begin his bid for a first World Series of Darts victory.
Lewis will now take on Peter Wright, who ended home hopes in the tournament with a 6-1 defeat of Japanese number one Haruki Muramatsu, averaging 102.28 in the best-quality performance of the first round.
Wright landed two 11-darters as he took a 3-0 lead, before Muramatsu took out 100 to hit back, but the colourful former World Championship finalist pulled clear by taking the next three legs without reply.
"I knew that I was up against the top Japanese player and the amazing venue and great crowd spurred me on," said Wright. "It was hard being on last after everyone else had played, and won, so there was more pressure on me and it's a relief to get the win.
"I still feel that I've got more in the tank, but I really enjoyed the tungsten dart game. It's going to be tough on Sunday with three games but I can't wait."
As for professional game of dart,we recommend tungsten dart,Tungsten is an extremely dense metal, heavier than lead. It is also very durable, so a high-density tungsten dart resists wear and the grip will last much longer.

Gary Anderson in action during the final PDC DARTS chiefs in 27 June clinched a stunning deal to stage the World Series Finals in Glasgow.
Record Sport can reveal the sensational news for Scottish tungsten darts fans which will see the cream of the game head to the Braehead Arena for a £200,000 shootout on November 21-22.
World champion Gary Anderson will spearhead the event with the top eight players from this year’s five World Series events in Dubai, Japan, Perth, Sydney and Auckland being joined by 16 qualifiers from around the world.
World No.1 Michael van Gerwen, 16-times world
champion Phil Taylor, five-times world
champion Raymond van Barneveld and Anderson’s Scottish World Cup partner Peter Wright are also set to make the line-up alongside the likes of Adrian Lewis and James Wade.
With two sessions per day and the action live on ITV4, the PDC last night clinched the
agreement to take the tournament to Braehead.
Darts chiefs are thrilled at bringing another major championship north of the border.
With the Betway Premier League nights at Glasgow’s Hydro and Aberdeen’s Gas and Oil attracting sell-out crowds of 11,000 and 4000, the Scottish tungsten darts scene is thriving with Anderson’s World Championship win at the turn of the year boosting the profile to its highest-ever level. Although The Unibet Masters was lost from Ingliston’s Royal Highland Centre last year, PDC bosses Barry Hearn and Matt Porter have given Scotland another huge show of faith by bringing another big event north.
