According to Hongkong's South China Morning Post on December 5th, China will invest in developing two molten salt reactors, a nuclear technology that has been abandoned during the cold war, but it is a more theoretically safer and more efficient nuclear technology. This is because the demand of nuclear power plant and uranium is as high as 85%, far exceeding the international warning line of 50%, but the main fuel - thorium in the new type of molten salt reactor is the top of the world in our country.
