Terbium Oxide Price - August 19, 2020

The rare earth price in China maintains stability on the whole affected by the deadlocked supply and demand in the market. But the latest of terbium oxide, praseodymium oxide and neodymium oxide prices are in the upward trend.

The supply in the light rare earth market is tight. Under the background of bad weather and increasing environmental protection inspections, some rare earth smelting companies have slowed down their mining speed and are not willing to actively ship goods. It alleviates the problem that many consumers have strong resistance to high-level resources to a certain extent.

In the medium-heavy rare earth market, offers of dysprosium and terbium products are considerable. The dysprosium oxide price is around 1,880 yuan/kg, and terbium oxide price is above 4,920 yuan/kg. This is mainly due to the long-term shortage of raw materials and the strengthening of the implementation signal of the State Reserve. This week, the listed prices of Southern Rare Earth have moved up slightly.
