Since August, price of tungsten products in China remains high level. Support of supply side remains strong and demand remains relatively weak.

Rare earth price sustains steady growth, and praseodymium neodymium varieties maintain a strong momentum. Downstream demand of strong magnetic materials is strong.

Opening this week, tungsten market in China maintains the growth. Especially for ferrotungsten, cost pressures began to influence the market, constantly expanding the price, of which the price has reached RMB 135,000/ton and is gradually increasing to RMB 140,000/ton.

Rare earth price in China is relatively stable. In July 31st evening, Northern Rare Earth said that the overall supply and demand situation has not fundamentally changed, despite the recent price  have increased in varying degrees, the demand rebounded modestly and the overall situation  has been improved.

Tungsten concentrate market quotation: the latest price of tungsten concentrate, ammonium paratungstate and tungsten carbide powder remain high level.

Price of rare earth in China showed steady growth last week. Magnet material, still driven by the new energy automobile demand, shows well. This week's opening is at the end of the month, the market mentality is temporarily stable.

Tungsten prices in China market this week show a sharp increase. Up to now, compared with the data on Monday, 65% tungsten concentrate prices increase RMB 2,000/ton.

Some varieties of rare earth in China market continue to raise prices, and price of praseodymium neodymium is still strong. Influenced by the reservation, cracking down on evil and digestion of earlier demand, the current inventory of rare earth in China is limited.

Customs date shows, Chinese import volume of tungsten ore in June 2017 is 136.61 tons, decreasing by 42.57% compared with that in May 2017 which is 237.867 tons and decreasing by 36.70% compared with that in June 2016 which is 215.828 tons.

Tungsten industry maintained a relatively optimistic attitude yesterday in China. The supply and demand are still at a stalemate.
