Preparation of a Highly Ordered Tungsten Oxide Nanorods Method

The present invention discloses a method for preparing highly ordered tungsten oxide nanorods methods.
 
Mixing 0-50 ml of deionized water, and 0-50 ml of 36.5-38 wt% of a commercially available concentrated hydrochloric acid, to a total volume of 50 ml of the mixture, at room temperature after stirring for 5 minutes, then add 0.2-4 within grams of tungsten hexachloride, stirring was continued for 5 minutes, transferred into a 100 ml autoclave temperature; then placed on clean glass conductive for conducting a high-temperature reactor; the temperature within the reactor in a constant temperature oven after hydrothermal reaction constant 100-180 ℃ 4-20 hours, cooled; final conductive glass out from the high temperature reactor, rinsed with deionized water, then placed in the drying oven.

The invention process is simple, reproducible, and the diameter of the tungsten trioxide nanorods prepared 80-100 nm, a length of 3-6 microns.
